THIS YEAR IS ONE OF THE YEAR I WONT FORGET HOW I SPENT MY BIRTHDAY,ITS A GOOD THING I JOINED T.I.G. I HAD COMPLETELY FORGOTEN ABOUT IT WHEN IN THE MID MORNING I RECEIVED A BIRTHDAY CARD FROM SEAN RANK # 2, ONE OF THE T.I.G MEMBER WISHING ME A HAPPY BIRTHDAY IN A FEW MINUTES ANOTHER MESSAGE FROM T.I.G STAFF GLOBAL TEAM AND COMMUNITY AROUND THE WORLD. AT FIRST I THOUGHT IT WAS ONE OF THOSE JUNK MAILS I WAS ABOUT TO DELETE IT, NEXT TO IT I SAW A HAPPY BIRHTDAY FROM T.I.G SO I GAVE IT A SECOND THOUGHT.

I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO SAY THANKS ALOT SEAN AND ALL THE T.I.G MEMBERS AROUND THE WORLD FOR WISHING ME A HAPPY BIRTHDAY. MY DAY WAS MADE BY YOU THANKS ALOT FRIENDS. For many years young people have been sidelined in every aspect of development, we are branded over ambitious. I had a challenge when I was organising a confernce for young people from all over the globe this www.gyfod2008.org. Approaching many sponsors and NGO's I was really suprised by many who insisted that if we are to partner in organising the confernce then we have ot take the back seat while they take the front seat. This is because we are small they are big. To me I believe it was our idea as young people from the informal settlement how can we give it to someone else who is not even aware of how we came with the idea. Therefore im calling all young people its high time we fight this instructural inequality.Lets join hands and say "there is no excuse come 2015". One of my favourite country is bahrain, they have achieved 90%of the millenium goals within the 7 years why not our countries we still have 8 years even if we dont achieve 100% but 70% will be enough for a start past 2015. Therefore im asking fellow youths whats your stake.
